Our children's home
At Winfred House we aim to support and encourage our young people to investigate ways to achieve their individual goals through feeling cared for and feeling their worth in the comfort of a homely environment. We aim to create a therapeutic environment in which we work with the young people, enabling them to live, learn and develop together.
What we offer
We provide outstanding care, education, and therapeutic support for young people aged between 8 and 17 years old. We provide a nurturing and safe environment for young
people with emotional and behavioural difficulties who have complex needs.
Our staff
We place great importance on recruiting and retaining staff that possess appropriate qualifications and experience. Through its robust recruitment and selection policy, the home only employs personnel it believes have the requisite skills, education, training, experience and attitude which will complement and enhance the quality of care we deliver.
